JUSTICE CECILIA MUÑOZ PALMA FOUNDATION AWARD

The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu is pleased to announce that the Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma Foundation has launched the Justice Cecilia Muñoz Award and is now accepting nominations for the year 2009.

The Justice Cecilia Muñoz Award is a biennial project of the Foundation that gives recognition to Filipino legal professionals who have shown exemplary achievements in their profession, demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the Rule of Law, social justice, human rights, peace- and nation-building, and exceptional civic responsibility and integrity.

Interested individuals of Filipino citizenship may download the Nomination Guidelines and Nomination Form at www.justicepalmafoundation.org. Please note that the deadline for the submission of nominations is on 31 July 2009.

The Consulate will accept completed nomination forms with supporting documents for evaluation and possible endorsement to the Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma Foundation on or before 15 July 2009.
