Pago Pago, some 2600 miles southeast of Honolulu and about six (6) hours from Hawaii by plane, is home to roughly 2500-3000 Filipinos. The Consulate's outreach program was undertaken to bring its consular services closer to the Filipino community in American Samoa, particularly as many of these Filipinos do not have a visa to enter the United States.
